i-MAX DNA Polymerase combines the proofreading activity of Pfu DNA Polymerase with the high processivity of Taq DNA Polymerase to improve the performance of long PCR.

This enzyme can amplify long and complex DNA fragments up to 20kb from human genomic DNA and up to 30kb from a DNA template. The accuracy of this enzyme blend reduces the number of truncated amplification products formed. i-MAX II DNA Polymerase is applicable to a wide range of DNA including cloned DNA, human genomic DNA and templates that are difficult to amplify such as GC-rich or looped sequences
