EnPresso Tablet Cultivation Set

EnPresso Tablet Cultivation Set is a ready-to-use, pre-sterilized culture medium designed for bacterial shake flask cultivations. The principle of the EnPresso Tablet culture is based on the patented EnBase Technology, enzyme based substrate delivery, which uses an enzyme to release the glucose from a solubilized polysaccharide within the medium in a slow and consistent manner. The enzymatic control of glucose delivery provides an optimal cultivation environment for bacteria to grow slowly and to reach greater cell and protein product yields.

EnPresso Tablet Set Components:

• EnBase® Medium tablets (white bag): two tablets containing media components and a polysaccharide complex as substrate
• Booster tablet (black bag): complex additives for optimal pH conditions
• EnZ I’m (600 U/L): mixture of filter-sterilized enzymes
  

EnPresso Tablet Set Format: 
Each cultivation of 50 mL requires one white bag and one black bag

EnPresso Tablet Set Storage:
Store tablets at room temperature. The EnZ I’m should be stored at 4-8 °C for longer periods.

Additional items needed:

• Sterile 500mL flask
• 50mL sterile water
• Antibiotics
• Inducing agent (e.g. IPTG)

Recommended Conditions:
Volume: 10% of the flask volume: 50 mL culture in a 500 mL flask.
Temperature: 30 °C
