This mouse monoclonal antibody to phage M13 coat protein g3p (pIII) is a useful analytical tool for phage display systems which use the g3-protein of M13 for display of recombinant proteins (antibodies, protein or peptide libraries, etc.).
APPLICATIONS - Western Blots: analyze correct reading frame fusions of g3p-fusion proteins; determine expression levels of g3p-fusion proteins in E.coli and on the tip of the phage; analyze ratios of displayed g3p-proteins and g3p-fusion proteins on the phage capsid; analyze M13-infected E.coli strains.
APPLICATIONS - Non-Denaturing Conditions: ELISA detection of g3p-fusion proteins; purification of g3p-fusion proteins by affinity chromatography; rapid analysis of antigen binding characteristics of recombinant antibodies by microplate assay.
ANTIGENIC EPITOPE: Amino acids 292-302, ATDYGAAIDGF, which is compatible with most phagemid vectors.
PRESENTATION: 100ul purified monoclonal mouse IgG antibody, 0.5mg/ml. Working dilution is 1:1000 for Western blots and ELISA.
